BEAUTY queen Ruth Wade is holding a charity afternoon tea this Mother’s Day to raise funds for the Rainbow Child Foundation.

The event will be held at Rowledge Village Hall on Sunday, March 6, at 2pm and will be hosted by Ruth who is a finalist in the Face of the Globe international finals.

All proceeds from the event will be donated to the Rainbow Child Foundation, a-not-for-profit organisation which helps under privileged children from around the world.

For a donation of £12.50 visitors can enjoy a high tea including a selection of sandwiches, scones with jam and clotted cream and a variety of home-baked cakes and biscuits, all served with a pot of tea.

Everything will be home made and there is even a ‘slimming friendly’ alternative for anyone who is watching what they eat.
