PHYLLIS Tuckwell has created a Memory Meadow within Guildford’s Stoke Park, as a stunning floral tribute to those who are no longer here but are never forgotten.
The meadow is situated at the Nightingale Road entrance to the park, in an area given to the charity by Guildford Borough Council.
Its colourful mix of flowers will bloom every spring, and it is open to anyone wishing to spend some quiet time remembering their loved one.
A special remembrance event will be held at Memory Meadow on Saturday, April 16, from 10am to 12pm, which will feature inspiring readings and songs from a local choir, as well as giving those attending the opportunity to walk around the meadow taking in the surroundings.
As part of the event, Phyllis Tuckwell is inviting dedications to be featured in a Book of Remembrance, copies of which will be given to all who attend.
