PHYLLIS Tuckwell Hospice has created a Memory Meadow within Guildford’s Stoke Park, as a floral tribute to those who are no longer here, but are never forgotten.

The meadow is situated at the Nightingale Road entrance to the park, in an area given to the charity by Guildford Borough Council.

Its colourful mix of eye-catching flowers will bloom every spring, and it is open to anyone wishing to spend some quiet time remembering their loved one.

A special remembrance event will be held at Memory Meadow on Saturday, April 16, from 10am to 12pm, which will feature inspiring readings and songs from a local choir, as well as giving those attending the opportunity to walk around the meadow, taking in the pleasing surroundings.

As part of the event, Phyllis Tuckwell is inviting dedications to be featured in a Book of Remembrance, copies of which will be given to all who attend. To make a dedication in memory of a loved one, along with a donation to support Phyllis Tuckwell, visit the website www.pth.org.uk/memo

rymeadow, or call 01252 729446 by Friday, April 1.

Alongside this event, there will be a second special remembrance event on Saturday, April 22, from 10.30am to 12pm. To receive a Book of Remembrance, entries need to be submitted by April 7.
