RESIDENTS joined forces with the Whitehill and Bordon Community Trust and Artscape for a creative clean-up.

Although the Trust holds regular litter picks, its most recent featured an extra “something special” which saw rubbish put to good use.

The community litter pick and recycled art workshop was just one fixture on the Trust’s busy calendar of events.

The Whitehill and Bordon Community Trust is a new organisation working in partnership with residents, local authorities and town organisations to enhance the growing community.

“We will create and manage events and places for people that support active, healthy and social lifestyles promoting pride of place,” a spokesman said.

“We do this by bringing people together to set the community’s vision for our town and through working in partnership with the town and district councils and the developers of the regeneration programme.”
