SATURDAY'S village May fayre at Liss Infant School was halied as a "resounding success" by organisers, as they raised more than £5,000.
The money will go toward a project to build a new outdoor classroom at the Hillbrow Road school.
A similar event, with a World Cup football theme, was held at Steep Primary, with the school's coffers swelled by a day of fantastic fun in the sun.
For full story and great pictures from both fayres, see this week's Petersfield Herald.
