TWO burglars have been sentenced at Guildford Crown Court after being caught by police at the scene of the crime last month.
James Fisher, 19, and Andrew Evans, 25, both of no fixed address, were sentenced last Thursday after pleading guilty to a burglary in Deepdene, Lower Bourne, on February 3.
Both men had been detained by police as they tried to make off.
Evans was sentenced to 26 weeks in jail after pleading guilty to the burglary offence with Fisher.
Fisher was ordered to be detained for 26 weeks in a young offenders institute after admitting two counts of burglary.
