THE Whitehill and Bordon eco-town parish poll will be taken next week, when residents will get the chance to vote "yes" or "no" on a question proposed by the Bordon Area Action Group.

The parish poll will take place on Monday, June 18, between 4pm and 9pm at polling stations within Forest Community Centre, Whitehill Village Hall and Pinewood Village Hall – and all Whitehill and Bordon residents will be able to vote.

But this week, amid the rush of arranging a response, some Whitehill town councillors criticised the move by the Bordon Area Action Group – not because they disagree with the sentiment of a parish poll, but because they say the question posed is unclear.
