A JUDICIAL review of Waverley Borough Council's handling of the planning application to develop Undershaw was scheduled to start in the High Court on Wednesday.

As The Herald went to press, it was not known whether the judge will rule in favour of the Undershaw Preservation Trust, the Hindhead-based group pledged to protect the home of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.

The case, at the Royal Courts of Justice in The Strand, London, was before a High Court judge.
