FARNHAM Maltings’ annual international festival of knitting, unravel, will return for its tenth year in the new year - running over three days from February 16 to 18.

Since its launch in 2009, the festival has become one of the leading independent events for knitting and crochet, with yarn enthusiasts visiting from across the country and around the world. Unravel is the largest event of its kind in South East of England.

Gavin Stride, director at Farnham Maltings, said of the festival: “It is one of my favourite events in the Maltings calendar. It’s a pleasure to see a community of knitters, crochet and craft enthusiasts of all ages and backgrounds return year after year to celebrate their love of yarn.”

The hub of the festival, unravel’s marketplace, will provide visitors with the opportunity to browse and buy diverse products from over 70 exhibitors.

As ever, unravel is offering an exciting selection of expert-led workshops and talks on a range of disciplines.

Running throughout the whole building, visitors can enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of the show in the unique setting of the Maltings. As the 10th anniversary suggests, unravel has firmly established itself as a much-loved knitting and crochet ‘meet’ for all ages and crafting abilities.
