UPPARK House is actively seeking volunteers to join its existing team and will be holding a volunteer open morning next week.

The open morning will be held from 10am to 1pm at the National Trust property near South Harting on February 20 and is an opportunity to have an informal chat with the team and gain more detailed information on the opportunities across the property and garden.

Jenny Bennett, volunteer co-ordinator for Uppark, said: “To join us you don’t need to have qualifications or experience, you just need to be keen to learn and enjoy working with the public. There is no upper age limit, you don’t have to be a National Trust member, and you can work with us weekly, fortnightly or monthly. You’ll be given training and support as well as the opportunity to learn something new every day.”
