FARNHAM Chamber of Commerce has urged people to "shop locally" in 2009 to help prevent further business closures in the town centre.
As more and more shop fronts are being left empty and abandoned in the town as shopkeepers feel the pinch, residents have been told to support local retailers or lose them.
