AS the row over a proposal to build a bandstand in the town to celebrate the Queen's diamond jubilee gathers pace, a Petersfield market trader has demanded that a town councillor makes a personal apology over remarks he made at a meeting on Monday.

The comments came after the town council ruled out a proposal to put the controversial bandstand on the Heath and opted to look at erecting it on The Square instead.
