RESIDENTS are being urged to keep a closer eye on their properties after a spate of petty vandalism against homes and vehicles in Bordon last week. Between last Wednesday and Saturday evenings, an outside light was smashed at a house in Grafton Street. Telephone and satellite cables were cut outside a home in Cypress Street between last Friday and Sunday evenings. A window of the Alexandra Centre, in Savile Crescent, was smashed and a car parked in Horseshoe Crescent was damaged between last Friday and Monday. Anyone with information is urged to call police on 0845 0454545. l Stereo equipment, worth more than £300, was stolen from a parked car in Mercury Close, Bordon, last Friday evening. Thieves gained access to a Peugeot 206 between 6 pm last Friday and 9 am the following day. They escaped with a Pioneer stereo, worth £150, and an Alpine ASW1000 sub-system, worth £180, but the vehicle was not damaged.
