The 24-year-old Bordon man who was beaten unconscious and left lying in a road, only to be struck by a car, has been moved out of the intensive care unit of Southampton General Hospital.
He was moved to a hospital ward on Monday, January 31, but police sources at Hampshire Constabulary say the man's condition is still "serious."
