IT could have been any day in the life of your average Victorian but on Easter Monday, when Petersfield turned the clock on 150 years after the railway first came to town, it once more came alive to a bygone age of steam – and how.
Thousands thronged the streets and Liss and Petersfield stations to enjoy the only day of warm spring sunshine over the Easter weekend, as Petersfield celebrated Railway 150.
