Ever wondered what Farnham Carnival looks like from the air?
See below for a fantastic video of this year’s Rock and Pop Legends-themed procession as it weaved its way past Gostrey Meadow - captured by drone photographer Allan Arthurs (www.mediatechniche.com).
The scorching summer sun drew huge crowds to this year's procession - with thousands lining the town's streets to see the colourful and creative entries by dozens of local schools, community groups and businesses.
A fayre in Gostrey Meadow added to the carnival atmosphere, boasting live entertainment, a wide range of stalls and sideshows, (for the first time) a craft marquee, fun fair, Punch & Judy show, as well as an array of food outlets, beer tent, Prosecco and gin bars.
All the money collected from the procession will be returned to the schools, youth groups and charities taking part.
See this week’s Herald for a bumper Farnham Carnival 2018 pull-out jam-packed with photos of this year’s event, plus results - on sale Thursday for just 60p in shops and online.
