RESIDENTS packed a consultation this week on the future of Viking Park - the last piece of undeveloped land in the centre of Whitehill which, despite originally being zoned for leisure and business use, is being proposed as a site for eco-homes.

Many of those who went to the consultation and exhibition, at the Woodlark pub restaurant next to Viking Park on Tuesday morning, want to stop houses being developed on the site in favour of leisure facilities.
