ROGATE was in shock this week after a murder investigation was launched following the suspicious death of a much-loved villager.
The body of Lorraine Head, 46, known to her family and friends as George, was found at the bottom of the stairs at her cottage in Kings Head Mews, at the rear of The White Horse pub.
Her body was discovered at around 9.30pm on June 4. She had suffered a head injury.
