TILFORD has been rocked by a "deeply regretful and serious fraud", which has wiped out the village hall's reserves and left many victims, including newly weds and community groups, in its wake.

The Tilford Institute's former bookings clerk was arrested in South Yorkshire on Saturday after allegedly siphoning a "significant amount" of hire payments into his own bank account.
