THE annual village fete returns to Wrecclesham tomorrow (Sunday) and promises "lots to see and do" at the recreation ground, according to organisers.

The fete runs from 2pm-5.30pm.

Children will get the chance to meet “real” unicorns, take part in races and have donkey rides. A fire eater, a juggler and the Farnham Town Band are booked in too.

There won’t be a food shortage either, with three food stalls - a barbecue, a hog roast and A Pinch of Saffron providing sustenance.

Afternoon teas and cakes will also be on the menu courtesy of St Peter’s Church. The Gin Inn, a refurbished horse box pub, will have a stand too.

The England v Panama game will be shown on television in the clubhouse, where there is also a bar.

A silent auction will be held with “amazing prizes” donated by local businesses.

There will also be a dog show and a flower and vegetable competition. To enter, call committee member Gail Whattingham on 01252 723635 or 07702 503383.

“It’s going to be fantastic this year,” said Gail.
