A RETHINK is needed on traffic calming measures implemented in Grayswood earlier this year. They have not prevented cars from speeding through the village, a resident has claimed this week.
Linda Travers has written repeatedly to Surrey County Council to voice her concerns and to request control over the speed limit by the installation of road markings, yellow-backed signs or speed cameras.
A SCC spokesman said an assessment would be carried out to see whether the speed of traffic had been reduced.
