FARNHAM Maltings is to host a new, specialist vintage fashion, accessories and textiles fair six times a year starting on Saturday, November 12.

Vintage Fashion Fair Farnham has been created by experienced London vintage fair organiser Marilyn Tye and independent vintage dealer Nicola Chinn, owner of Pret-A-Vintage.

They aim to provide a quality, bi-monthly vintage fashion fair featuring the best authentic, wearable vintage fashion, accessories and textiles from local, London and UK dealers.

Stallholders are handpicked to bring together a varied selection of authentic vintage fashion for ladies and gentlemen to suit all tastes and budgets.

More than 20 dealers will be exhibiting pieces from the Victorian era through to the 1980s at the first event on November 12, open from 10am to 4pm.

Marilyn Tye said: “We are thrilled to launch this specialist vintage fashion fair at the Farnham Maltings – a fantastic venue. Our dealers will be showcasing a wide variety of vintage from beautiful 1920s beaded dresses all the way through to designer vintage from the 1980s.

“Expect to find labels like Chanel, Gucci, YSL, Lanvin, Ossie Clark, Jean Varon, Jean Muir as well as classic vintage party dresses, suits and coats and fun, affordable pieces.”

Owner of Pret-A-Vintage Nicola Chinn added: “I’m excited to bring a taste of the London vintage fair scene to my home town of Farnham. Vintage fashion is a fun, affordable way to own and love pieces that are timeless, unique and great quality.

“This is why fashion designers, celebrity stylists and top fashion editors can always be found browsing the rails at vintage fairs looking for a special piece to add to their wardrobe or for design inspiration.

“Our first fair will be a great place to shop for beautiful party dresses for the Christmas season, unique Christmas gifts and we’re delighted to have a great selection of men’s vintage clothing available.”

Following the initial event, Vintage Fashion Fair Farnham will return on Saturday, January 28, and every other month there-after.

Entry costs £2 (under 16s free). For more information visit the website www.vintagefashionfairfarnham.co.uk .
