A WOMAN was violently attacked as she walked along Beacon Hill Road on Monday afternoon.

The attacker stole £1,400 from the 20-year-old woman, and left her suffering from bruises to her leg and shock.

A person described as 17-20 years old, 5 ft 8, and wearing a bright orange headscarf and a skirt, was spotted hanging around outside the local shops at the time of the robbery.
