JANE Austen’s House in Chawton hosts a virtual book club meeting on January 28 at 1pm on Zoom.

This event is part of Pride & Prejudice Day, celebrating the publication of Pride & Prejudice on January 28, 1813.

A spokesperson said: “Grab a cup of tea and join us for an hour of blissful Pride & Prejudice discussion on your lunch break. We’ll get the ball rolling with questions, ideas and provocations, and then it’s over to you – as a group we’ll share thoughts, theories, favourites and best bits. Whether you love the book, audiobook or a film or stage adaptation, join us to share your love of this internationally beloved story.”

All proceeds will go towards the upkeep of the museum.
