HASLEMERE Hall has received a vital shot in the arm this week with news that Waverley Borough Council is to recommend a £32,000 grant for repairs to the hall's roof.
The council completed a full survey of the 100-year-old building last April, and discovered that £133,000 was needed for essential repairs to its leaking roof.
