STAFF and volunteers gathered at Haslemere museum this week to mark a special occasion.

Trustee and volunteer Penny Hollow celebrated 40 years with the museum, which began in the summer of 1969 when she offered to dust and polish the glass cases for a couple of weeks when the cleaner was on holiday.
