AS Great Britain continues to improve on its record-breaking tally of Olympic gold medals, games makers from in and around Petersfield have spoken of the "unique and amazing experience" of being part of the army of Olympic Games volunteers.
Tracey Richardson, 51, from Heath Road, Petersfield, is once such heroic volunteer.
When not in the hub of the immense press centre at the Olympic Park which is the temporary home to thousands of journalists from across the globe, Tracey is both the secretary of the Association of Petersfield Businesses and a consultant for the charity world.
She has so far worked 10 shifts since the week before the opening ceremony of the games and has another three days left to do including her final day after the closing ceremony.
But if that isn't enough for just one of the thousands of the Olympic Games volunteers, she will be back to help at the Paralympics and be ready to hit the track running again.
