VOLUNTEERS headed down to the Bordon Inclosure to lend a hand to the Deadwater Valley Trust.
Over the weekend of November 5-6, a conservation work party headed to the Bordon Inclosure (pictured), where they carried out habitat management to improve the land for users.
“We were removing sycamore saplings as they can take over an area of woodland,” Deadwater Valley Trust countryside ranger Freya Prince said. “We had seven volunteers helping.”
The next volunteer working party at the Bordon Inclosure, behind the old Quebec Barracks, is on Saturday, December 3, from 10am to 12pm.
