GET walking for charity this bank holiday and support Grada Helsdon as she raises money for the Burns Unit at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, which helped and supported her after a cooking mishap left a quarter of her body seriously burned.
The walks will take around two hours and 15 minutes to complete, starting at 9am on April 14, 10am on April 15, and 1.30pm on April 17, from The Barley Mow pub, in Tilford.
All registered walkers will be entered into a raffle, and a separate prize will be awarded for the entrant who collects the most money overall.
“The Barley Mow has a reputation for delicious food, wines and beers and friendly staff. They will welcome the walkers back with some sustenance in their garden,” said Farnham resident Grada.
“To prove the point how brilliant Chelsea and Westminster treatment is, after a year I can now walk well and am doing all three five-mile walks to celebrate my good fortune.
“It will help the burns unit that covers all severe burns in London and home counties. You never know, you may one day be grateful they are there.”
