PHYLLIS Tuckwell’s Walk for the Wards is back this May, offering participants the chance to get out and about in the countryside, while raising money to support the hospice care which the charity provides for the residents of West Surrey and North East Hampshire.

The annual walk offers both five and 10-mile routes, both of which start from the Tilford Institute in Tilford, near Farnham. It kicks off at 9.30am, on Sunday, May 8, and can be completed at the participants’ own leisure. Everyone will be greeted with a cream tea upon completion.
