WILLING whistle blowers are wanted in Bordon as a community football league looks to recruit men and women in black for a new league.
Leisure Leagues, Europe’s biggest provider of five and six-a-side football, is running courses for budding referees.
Once they have passed their induction, “refs” will start on a journey that could see them refereeing the top professionals in the world - Ronaldinho, Ryan Giggs and David James are all Leisure Leagues ambassadors.
The league donates all its profits to charities and good causes and has received praise from politicians and celebrities for its community efforts.
The induction evenings will take place on Mondays at Mill Chase Leisure Centre over the next few weeks.
Anyone interested in the free lessons can telephone 0333 123 2340, email [email protected] or see www.leisureleagues.net.
