FARNHAM Eco-Cinema presents a 1990 BBC1 documentary film which brought global attention to a remote South American people, the Kogi of Colombia, who where were determined to caution the world about environmental damage to the earth.
Now, two decades later and convinced that their message has gone unheeded, the next generation of Kogi are reaching out to the world once more with a much more specific warning about the future of the planet.
Alan Ereira co-produced the film with the Kogi elders and will talk on the night about its powerful message and what is being done in response.
The documentary will be shown on Thursday, December 11, from 7.10pm at Farnham Pottery in Wrecclesham.
