THE fight is on to stop a site in Station Road, Bordon, being ear-marked as suitable for a waste transfer station.
Whitehill town councillors agreed on Monday to go to a meeting with "key" contributors of the scheme. A transfer station would mean dustcarts off-loading at a site, and a larger bulk freighter collecting the waste to take it to landfill sites near Portsmouth.
