A CAMPAIGN is under way to protect Farnham's river meadows, currently on the market with a guide price of £280,000, from housing or commercial development.
The issue has grabbed the public's attention, with letters to The Herald supporting the idea that the 34 acres should either be bought by one of the local councils or by public subscription.
