A NEW 7.5 kilometre pipeline linking South East Water’s reservoirs in Boxalls Lane near Badshot Lea and the Hog’s Back has been completed ahead of schedule.

The utilities company says the new 14 inch diameter underground water pipe will meet the Aldershot and Farnham area’s growing demand for water up to 2040.

The upgrade, which forms part of South East Water’s five year £424 million investment programme, started in July 2015 and was expected to be completed by this November.

A South East Water spokesman said: “We would like to thank local residents, businesses and motorists for their patience and understanding while this essential scheme has taken place.”
