FRENSHAM Scarecrow Festival is back this bank holiday weekend for a fun, family friendly day out in the beautiful village of Frensham.

There will be over 50 scarecrows dotted around the Shortfield Common area of the village on Saturday, Sunday and Monday from 10.30am-4.30pm.

Quiz sheets, raffle tickets, mini scarecrows and tea, coffee and homemade cakes will all be for sale at Scarecrow HQ, as well as a face painter and candy floss.

Frensham Village Shop will be open for ice creams and cold drinks, and The Holly Bush pub will be serving delicious food.

Money raised will go towards several local projects, including Dockenfield church repairs, the local youth group and the British Legion in Frensham.

Parking is available at Moor House School, a short five minute walk down Hamlash Lane to Scarecrow HQ. There is only very limited parking for disabled drivers onsite.

Organisers of this fun event are Kerry Weeks, Felicity Raymond, Amanda Smith and Sarah Vickery.

Scarecrow HQ can be found on Shortfield Common Road, Frensham.
