WAVERLEY Borough Council has reshuffled its decision-making executive committee after the resignation of councillor Stewart Stennett this summer.

Mr Stennett, a Cranleigh councillor and the former portfolio holder for leisure and culture, stepped down from the executive in August due to increased work commitments.

His responsibilities have subsequently been shared between the remaining nine members of the committee, with Godalming’s Simon Thornton taking the leisure brief.
