Waverley's motorists will have seven road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.

And one of them is expected to cause moderate delays – with drivers facing a holdup of between 10 and 30 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that seven closures are due to start over the next two weeks:

A3, from 8pm May 7 to 6am May 31, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3 both directions Liphook to Thursley, Lane closures for tunnel works.

A3, from 8pm May 7 to 6am May 8, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3 southbound, Hazelgrove to Liphook, Lane closure for maintenance works.

A3, from 8pm May 10 to 6am May 11, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A3 southbound, Hazel Grove, slip road and lane closures for drainage work.

A3, from 8pm May 11 to 6am May 12, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3 northbound, Milford, slip road and lane closures for sweeping of carriageway.

A3, from 8pm May 12 to 6am May 13, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3 southbound, Milford, slip road and lane closures for drainage work.

A3, from 8pm May 13 to 6am May 14, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3 northbound, Hazel Grove, slip road and lane closures for surveys.

A3, from 8pm May 16 to 6am May 17, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3 southbound, Lower Eashing, slip road and lane closures for drainage work.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
