HALF-term was especially exciting for a group of year six pupils from Waverley Abbey School in Tilford, who went on the annual ski trip to Claviere, Italy.

As well as learning skills on the slopes they also had the opportunity to practise speaking Italian and try new foods.

Nikki Jones from Waverley Abbey, said: “The children on the trip soon became a ’ski family’ and it was lovely to see the care and support that they provided to each other and the teachers while away from home. The trip also enabled the children to develop their own independence and organisational skills.”
