WAVERLEY residents will face one of the lowest council tax increases in Surrey, now that councillors have agreed to a £3.75 increase in the yearly charge for the average Band D household.
The inclusion of the Surrey County Council, Surrey police and town/parish council elements will leave the average Band D council tax payer in Haslemere facing a total bill of £819.76 for the year 2000/2001.
