PETERSFIELD town councillors admitted they made a "mess" of handling a grant usually awarded to Petersfield Youth Theatre to help fund their Christmas projects.

Youth theatre members felt they may have been "victims of their own success" as the council originally rejected their bid for a £900 grant.
