THE contract for the rebuilding of Haslemere's Weaving House is expected to go out to tender next month, members of Haslemere Town Council's finance and general purposes committee were told last week.
Members, who had requested an update on the project's progress, were told by town clerk Gerry Evans that structural engineers employed by the Haslemere Thespians had decided it was "feasible to rebuild the Weaving House on the existing site without having to rebuild the foundations".
