CAMPAIGNERS who battled against the installation of additional mobile phone transmitters on top of Haslemere fire station in West Street earlier this year are facing a fresh challenge this week.
The residents of Oaklands, off Tanners Lane, who joined forces in February to oppose the plans, were shocked to receive notification that an appeal had been launched by Mercury One to One against Waverley Borough Council's decision to refuse planning permission for the application.
