TWENTY-FIVE students from Weydon School in Farnham delivered some outstanding performances at the Stella Gymnastics tournament.
Held at Weydon, students competed against Ash Manor, Heath End and All Hallows. The Weydon team were triumphant as they were crowned the overall winners for the second consecutive year. In addition, the team brought home a total of 14 bronze, 16 silver and 20 gold medals.
It was a very long evening but their standards did not drop and all students remained enthusiastic throughout. Special mention to Clara Thompson, Ellie Raby, Sophie Raine and Chloe Harrison who won gold in all their respective events, a total of 14 between them.
Danielle Boseley, PE teacher, said: “I am so proud of the students and their achievements. All their hard work has paid off winning so many medals and becoming the overall winners. It makes all the practice worthwhile.”
