ST Mary’s Church in Frensham is holding a special service on Sunday, April 24, at 10.30am to celebrate many of the charities that they have supported over recent years.

The church will be promoting its links with local charities, many of which have come about by donations from St Mary’s Frensham Trust, or by church collections.

During the past 34 years St Mary’s Frensham Trust has made 498 donations to more than 160 different charities nominated by the parishioners of Frensham and Dockenfield, giving more than £61,000 to good causes.

A large number of charities will be there and it will be anopportunity to learn more about their work and how to get involved. Everyone is welcome and the service will be followed by refreshments in the church hall.
