AS half term draws to an end, make the most of your last weekend before the kids go back to school on Monday.

1) LAMBING OPEN DAY at Miller’s Ark Animals (Saturday, February 17, 10am-4pm).
If your child loves animals, especially baby animals, what better way to spend a Saturday then at Miller’s Ark Animals in Hook.

2) SNOWDROP WEEKEND at Gilbert White’s House (Saturday, February 17 and Sunday, February 18, 11am and 2pm tours).
Snowdrops will be the main feature in Gilbert’s gardens this weekend as it marks “one of the most magical times of the year”.
These plants signal the beginning of spring, with tours available for you and your family to learn more about the snowdrop and the landscape it’s part of.

3) HATCHLANDS PARK Pets in the Park (Saturday, February 17 and Sunday, February 18, 10am-5pm).
This is the last weekend you can enjoy Pets in the Park at Hatchlands and discover the parks’ non-human inhabitants.
Your family can follow a trail around the park and then head to the Kitchen Cafe for some pet-themed treats - you can even bring dogs.

4) FROGGY’S LIBRARY TREASURE HUNT (Saturday, February 17)
Tomorrow is the last day your child can take part in Farnham Library’s half term treasure hunt.
All you have to do is go into Farnham Library and get yourself an answer sheet.
Once you think you’ve got all the correct answers, simply submit your sheet to be entered into the prize draw.

5) WARRIORBOTS brick battle (Saturday, February 17 and Sunday, February 18)
Get ready for battle as LEGO Warriorbots come to Milestones Museum this weekend, all part of Mythical Beasts: Legendary creatures come to life in LEGO bricks.
You will take on three other mechanical LEGO bots and house bots in an ultimate show down for victory.
Each round lasts for two minutes and to win you’ll have to knock your opponents into the pit or destroy them.
Take your place as champion and lift the Warriorbots trophy.

6) UNRAVEL knitting festival (Friday, February 16 to Sunday, February 18, various opening times).
The Maltings’ knitting festival returns this weekend for its tenth anniversary. Unravel is the largest event of its kind in the South East of England and is a much loved knitting and crochet “meet” for all ages and abilities.
Visitors to the festival will be able to browse and buy diverse products from over 70 exhibitors, including Hamphire based The Little Grey Sheep, Triskelion Yarn from Carmarthen, Fine Fish Yarn from Belfast and a number of new vendors for the 2018 show.

7) ROLLER DISCO (Saturday, February 17, 7pm-10pm).
Discoskate is making its way to Guildford Spectrum for one last party before the children go back to school.
It’ll take place in the Spectrum’s main arenas which can be found on the same level as the ice rink, swimming pool and bowling alley.
You could even make a day of it as all of this and more is available inside the Spectrum.
All ages can go along and as well as being great fun, it’s also fantastic exercise.

8) RHS Wisley MUD & MACHINES-themed activities (February 10 to February 18, 9am-4.30pm).
Grab your waterproofs and pull on your wellies if you’re heading to Wisley this weekend.
They’ve got something for everyone, including painting with mud, making a seed bomb, making a mud creature and so much more.
There’ll also be a photo opportunity with some giant machinery, so get ready to pose in some high-visibility safety gear.

9) UPPARK House and Garden - The National Trust (February 10 to February 18).
Head down to South Harting, near Petersfield, for this signs of spring trail.
Get the children outdoors in some fresh winter air this half term, for a voluntary donation of at least £1.
A new trail will have them hunting for the first signs of spring plants and animals around these easy to navigate gardens, with spot, listen and draw activities.
Uppark is high up on the South Downs too, so why not bring a kite?

10) G LIVE event (Saturday, February 17, 2.30pm and 7.30pm).
Are you a Strictly Come Dancing fan? Well, this event at Guildford’s G Live could be just the thing for you.
Anton and Erin - from Broadway to Hollywood sees the shows’ stars celebrating a decade of dance.
There will be new choreography, a show band performing timeless music and, of course, lots of sparkling costumes.
