Top comedian Paul Tonkinson – a familiar face from Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow – is to headline at the Laugh Out Loud Comedy Club tonight (Friday, October 14) at Portsmouth Guildhall from 7.30pm.
While Aldershot’s West End Centre present cult performance artists Action Hero’s new play Wrecking Ball, also taking place tonight (Friday, October 14) from 8pm.
Local “live music” collective Blue Records are hosting Oxjam in Farnham for the second year this Saturday (October 15). Live music will take place in and around the Oxfam shops in East Street between 1pm and 5pm before moving to the William Cobbett pub in the evening.
As well as the music there will be foolish games and other participatory activities, so come along, help the team fill the buckets and raise money for Oxfam and of course have loads of fun.
Two Rotary Clubs in Farnham are making an urgent appeal for funds to help the people of Haiti hit by Hurricane Matthew – collections will be held this Saturday (October 15) in Lion and Lamb Yard.
The Ancora Female Voice Choir will celebrate its 10th anniversary with a charity concert tomorrow (Saturday, October 15) from 7.30pm at St Lawrence’s Church, in Alton.
Launching this Sunday (October 16) in Farnham is a new support group helping those with life-threatening allergies.
The sessions are a perfect chance to meet other people with similar problems in the area, share experiences, swap tips and talk freely in a relaxed setting.
Places are free but limited and prior notice of attendance is essential – the event will take place at St Martin’s Hall off Dene Lane in Lower Bourne, Farnham, from 7.45pm to 8.45pm.
