IT may be chilly outside - but that shouldn’t stop your family getting out and about this weekend.
We’ve put together a top ten list of events within a short drive of Farnham to get everyone warmed up this Saturday and Sunday.
1. THE VYNE rooftop walkway (last entry 2.30pm).
This is the last weekend that you’ll be able to investigate this major project.
The whole family can ascend the scaffolding so that they can see the work as it nears completion.
In 1535, The Vyne was frequently visited by Henry VIII and Anne Boleyn so take this opportunity to see conservation in action and admire the views from the walkway.
As well as seeing an insider’s view of the projects, you can see the wetlands and parkland before the end of this £5.4 million roof project.
To top it off, this is all included in the admission price and is wheelchair/buggy accessible.
Coin-drop - Whilst on the rooftop walkway, you can drop coins down a special chute and listen to the cymbals clang as your donation hits the bottom.
Last chance to ‘Tag-a-Tile’ – That means it’s also the final weekend to leave your mark on the Vyne by tagging a handmade roof tile (suggested donation of £5).
