AN APPEAL for help has been made by Haslemere Town Council to track down the rogue motorist who ploughed up Lion Green at the weekend.

A council spokesman said: “Disappointing to see severe damage caused to Lion Green this weekend by a vehicle driving across the green. Please do contact us if you have any information about this.”
