EVERY little helps Shottermill Junior School, which received a welcome gift from Haslemere Tesco’s community fundraiser Anita Cumber.

Head Kate Barnes said. “Anita from Tesco visited us in gardening club to plant some poppy seeds that she was donating from the store. She stayed and helped us with weeding and putting supports around our apple trees and plum tree in the newly designated orchard.

“Anita is looking forward to working with us this year to help support in our desire to make our school grounds even better.

“She helped out with our eco-day two summers ago and is on board to help with our next one in spring 2017.”
